Tree Care Services
Ty's Tree and Lawn will diagnose trees for insect damage, disease and fungus problems., along with any environmental issues and general health and appearance of trees for our customers. After diagnoses, we will recommend a treatment that can be carried out by either the homeowner or by Ty’s Tree and Lawn Service.
Treatments include:
- Tree spraying for insects and diseases:
- Aphids, leafhoppers, Japanese beetles, bagworms, tent caterpillars, emerald ash borer, etc.

- Disease and fungus issues:
- Apple scab, anthracnose, blights, leaf spots, powdery mildew, etc.

Our sprays are mixed with organic and normal pesticides to achieve safe and highly efficient controls to minimize collateral damage and keep spraying to a minimum for the best control. Deep Root Feeding Trees:
- Includes applications that are in the ground, away from any pets or children, in order to get the highest results from our work.
- The fertilizer is our own mix of 3 types of nitrogen, INE that is quick release for instant results. It is one that is a slow release for longer results and one that is micro-encapsulated for season long results long into the next year.
- Along with the nitrogen that is added, we also include phosphorus and potash for strong root development, blooming power in the spring, and lasting color in the fall.
- Trace minerals are also added to fight diseases that other companies may leave out because of expense. We do more for your trees that any other company will do. We value quality. For certain trees we add in systemic insecticide with our feeding to control very hard to reach insects such as Emerald Ash Borer, Birch Borer, or Redbud Borer.
Shrub Pruning:
- Pruning is normally done two times per year (June & September).
- We shape, take down, or manicure your shrubs to your specifications. We will remove all debris after pruning is complete making your lawn look in tiptop shape.
